Job summary

Tritical Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Medical/Surgical contract on a hospital unit. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of M/S RN experience, an active RN license, BLS, and EPIC proficiency. Night shift options, local & travel candidates welcome, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and applicable OT.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical/surgical patients during the night shift.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical for a 13-week contract assignment on a medical/surgical unit. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

The ideal candidate will have strong medical/surgical nursing experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to medical/surgical patients during the night shift.

Clinical Environment

The unit cares for patients with a broad range of medical diagnoses and may include patients requiring various isolation precautions. Candidates should be comfortable following appropriate infection-control and isolation procedures, including enhanced precautions when indicated.

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the assignment.

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience.

Current BLS certification from an approved provider.

Recent experience working in a hospital/acute-care environment.

EPIC experience is required.

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Experience caring for patients requiring various isolation precautions is preferred.
