Job summary

Endeavor Health's Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Stroke Telemetry unit. This full-time day shift (7am-3:30am) includes rotating weekends and a 32-hour work week, with competitive hourly pay.

You will provide compassionate care, guide support staff, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Requires IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education, BLS/CPR certification, and prior nursing experience; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current IL RN license and BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care on a Stroke Telemetry unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate with the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Contribute to high-quality patient experience and safety initiatives.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unitUtilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of careGuide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient careCommunicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of carePositively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required

Experience: Prior nursing

or

if new graduate nurse, CNA experience preferred
