Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse for NICU, night shift 7p–7a. You will render high-level nursing care using the nursing process, assess needs, plan, implement and evaluate care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure developmentally appropriate care.

The role requires a BSN (preferred), current BLS, Texas RN license or eligibility, and NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 1 year NICU RN experience.

Your Job:

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience
