Job summary

Aspirus Medford Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time or .6 FTE position. The role covers 8-hour weekday day shifts in Medford, WI, with 48 hours every pay period.

The RN will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, emphasizing evidence-based practice and data collection to improve quality of care. Wisconsin/Michigan RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Minimum of one year practicing as an RN preferred.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

Experience/Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Minimum of one year practicing as a RN preferred.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable BLS training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
