Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required (BSN or ADN).
• BLS Provider (American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
• Illinois nursing license required prior to hire.
• Experience in Med-Surg or Telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a diverse med-surg patient population including heart failure, COPD, and chest pain.
• Perform/troubleshoot standards of care such as trach care, chest tubes, central lines and phlebotomy.
• Join a team-focused unit that emphasizes the whole person care and ongoing nursing skill development.
