Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc seeks a Per Diem Registered Nurse on Med/Surg shifts in Evanston (and Skokie as a secondary site). You will provide safe, compassionate care and apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities include leading unlicensed assistive personnel, collaborating with the health team to achieve optimal outcomes, and promoting patient safety and high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license.
• NLN-accredited nursing program completion (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification.
• Active NIHSS certification.
• At least two years of recent acute care med/surg experience with telemetry competence within 14 days of hire.

Per Diem Registered Nurse Med/Surg

Location:

Evanston and Skokie (secondary site)

Responsibilities:

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care on med/surg units, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Lead and coordinate unlicensed assistive personnel, collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and promote safety and high-quality experiences.

Qualifications:

Current IL nursing license, graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), BLS certification, active NIHSS certification, and at least two years of recent acute care med/surg experience, including telemetry competence within 14 days of hire. Telemetry skills must be demonstrated via online test.
