Brown University Health’s nursing team seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on a 12-hour night shift at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Under supervision, you will lead, delegate and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with the care team and families to plan discharge.
The role requires RI RN licensure, a BSN preferred, ongoing credentialing such as BLS/ACLS, and commitment to lifelong learning.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager (or designee) implements, supervises and evaluates the nursing care of each patient using a nursing process and in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. From admission to discharge, plans with consideration of the aging process throughout the life span, including all developmental stages as well as cultural patterns.

Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
