TriHealth's Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH invites experienced Med Surg RNs for PRN nursing opportunities across Oncology, Urology, Pulmonary and Ortho/Neuro units. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Requirements include an RN license, ADN/ Diploma, BSN within 5 years, BLS, and 1–2 years Med Surg experience.

Formación

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in good standing.
• Minimum 1–2 years Med Surg nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans with the team.
• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care respecting autonomy and dignity.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care plans as needed; document responses.
• Supervise delegated tasks and support team-based care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and knowledge updates.

Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
• Registered Nurse
• Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care
• needs at various stages of the life cycle
• Preferred membership in related professional organization
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts comprehensive initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and documents findings per organizational standards.
• Develops, updates, and communicates individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provides safe, patient-centered nursing care, prioritizing autonomy, dignity, cultural sensitivity, and timely response to emergencies.
• Accurately executes physician orders, administers medications and treatments, and performs technical skills according to policy.
• Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts care plans accordingly; documents responses and teaching provided.
• Supervises delegated tasks and supports effective team-based care.
• Serves as a resource to staff, contributes to a positive learning environment, and participates in ongoing professional development.
• Completes assignments and documentation within required timeframes and maintains current knowledge of unit and organizational updates.
