Job summary

Career Land Center is hiring a Med-Surg Oncology RN for a Ft. Walton Beach, FL facility. The role focuses on collecting data to build targeted care plans, and serving as a patient advocate for safety and comfort during the stay.

You will educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments, while collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless continuity of care. Night shifts with rotating weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of RN experience in acute care preferred; LTAC/SNF settings considered.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; active, unrestricted RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration within 18 months of start.

Career Land Center is hiring for a Med-Surg Oncology RN at a healthcare facility in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, home to an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a dedicated Cancer Care Center, and full open-heart surgery services.

Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data to build individualized, outcome-focused care plans. Serve as a dedicated advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the stay. Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans. Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care not required — LTAC, SNF, and similar settings will be considered). Associate Degree in Nursing. Current, unrestricted RN license. BLS certification within 30 days of start. ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration within 18 months of start.
