Job summary

Career Land Center is hiring a Med-Surg Oncology RN for a Ft. Walton Beach, FL facility. The role focuses on collecting data to build targeted care plans, and serving as a patient advocate for safety and comfort during the stay.

You will educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments, while collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless continuity of care. Night shifts with rotating weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of RN experience in acute care preferred; LTAC/SNF settings considered.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; active, unrestricted RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration within 18 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to build individualized, outcome-focused care plans.
• Serve as an advocate for patient safety and comfort during the stay.
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure continuity of care.
