Job summary

Mercy Hospital Logan County in Guthrie, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for the Med/Surg unit. This full-time role offers day shifts from 7am to 7pm with rotating weekends and holidays, and a 36-hour workweek. A supportive team environment focuses on high-quality patient care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure (state or compact). ACLS/BLS certifications are expected or obtainable during orientation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required or obtained within the orientation period.

• Sign-on bonus available: $15,000 for new grads, up to $20,000 for experienced nurses!

Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to Observation, Inpatient and Swing patients. Our unit Patient/Nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Licensure

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Physical requirements/demands

Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

• Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
