Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Logan County - Guthrie, OK. This full-time position requires 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

A generous sign-on bonus is offered, ranging from $15,000 for new grads to up to $20,000 for experienced nurses. Education: graduate of an accredited RN program, with active RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure.

: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Physical requirements/demands

: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Required Certifications (

training provided by Mercy during the orientation period if not already certified):

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
