Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services seeks a Medical Surgical Telemetry RN at Pampa Regional Medical Center in Texas. The role covers Med-Surg and Telemetry with cardiac monitoring responsibilities during hospitalization. Shift is nights and full-time, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Requirements include RN license, BLS, ACLS preferred, BSN preferred; we provide health/dental/vision, paid time off, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current (preferred).
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions including vital signs, rhythms, and health status to create care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
• Communicate changes in clinical condition to physicians.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide hands-on care including wound care, treatments, ADL assistance, and emotional support.

We are seeking aMedical Surgical TelemetryRN, internally referred to as ourMed/Tele RNatworking in both the Med-Surg and Telemetry departments. A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within Med/Surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. Our RN is instrumental in overseeing the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during their hospitalization.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans

• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythms

• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology

• Administer medicationsas prescribed byphysicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions

• Provide hands‑on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assistingwith activities of daily living, and providing emotional support

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
