Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join CMS-6. The unit operates on a 36-hour schedule with nights, every third weekend, and rotating holidays. You will deliver patient-centered care in a supportive nursing environment and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

CMS-6 provides step-down level care and offers the opportunity to pursue PCC (Progressive Critical Care) certification, with emphasis on growth and professional development within BMCHS.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred. Newly licensed nurses are welcome to apply
• Previous Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Certification in basic life support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life support(ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language a plus.

Compensation Range

$39.80- $93.69

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
