Job summary

Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med Surg team. Full-Time or 0.8 FTE with PM/Evening and Night rotation; position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

The RN provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care with evidence-based practice, and participates in quality improvement through data collection and analysis. Licensure in Wisconsin and/or Michigan is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Certification in specialty desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement by data collection and analysis.
• Provide compassionate nursing care and collaborate with the health-care team to meet patient needs.

Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team!

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

HOURS: Full-Time or 0.8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period, PM (Evening)/Night Rotation

Experience/Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursingrequired.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, minimum of three years practicing as a RN in comparative setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
• Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
