Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring in the Washington, DC area for a Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical position. The role requires an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient status, and collaborate with care teams to ensure discharge planning and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience in medical-surgical or similar setting.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
  • Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
  • Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies
