Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring Registered Nurses for Med Surg in the Washington, DC area. Multiple shifts available (day, night, mid) with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. Position requires ADN or higher, valid RN license, BLS, and 1 year of med-surg experience, plus EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care, medication administration, collaboration with care teams, patient/family education, and thorough documentation to support discharge planning.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in good standing (unencumbered).
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association.
  • 1 year nursing experience in a medical-surgical or similar setting.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician-directed plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and facilitate discharge planning.
  • Educate patients and families on chronic and acute disease management and post-discharge care.
  • Document all aspects of care accurately per hospital policies.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
