Incredible Health hospitals in Jackson, MI are hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg. The role requires ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS, and roughly 1 year of medical-surgical experience. You will provide comprehensive bedside care, administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team.

EMR proficiency and discharge planning experience are preferred. Shifts include day and night; positions available full-time, part-time, and per diem with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active RN license (unencumbered) required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in medical-surgical or similar setting preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Strong clinical assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician-directed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
