Job summary

Saint Luke's North Hospital in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical Unit. This full-time position (36 hours weekly) involves day shifts with opportunities for continuing education and supportive leadership.

As a Med/Surg RN you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide patient care to a variety of conditions and acuity levels, including telemetry patients, and coordinate plans of care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years applicable nursing experience.

Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Surgical Unit.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Days

• Supportive leadership team, with Nursing Assistants to assist


• Intensivists and NP’s work alongside RNs during shifts, Respiratory Therapy available at night


• Extra incentives available for picking up additional shifts

As a Med/Surg Nurse on this unit you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, and treatment plans. This unit does provide care to some telemetry patients as well. This nursing position will provide you with variety in your day-to-day and allow you to expand and grow your nursing skills.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
