Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical in the Washington, DC area. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher and an active RN license, with at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred.

BLS certification and EMR proficiency are essential. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care, administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, and educating patients and families

Qualifications

  • ADN or higher nursing degree required.
  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • 1 year nursing experience preferred in medical-surgical or similar setting.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.
  • Educate patients and families on chronic and acute disease management and post-discharge care.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately in accordance with policies.
