Job summary

Sullivan County Health Care in New Hampshire is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team. You will provide high-quality nursing and restorative care within our policies and collaborate with medical staff to support residents.

Responsibilities include medication administration, supervision of LNAs, patient rounds with physicians, wound care, and coordinating care across shifts. A NH RN license, IV and CPR certification, and prior LTC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current NH RN license without restrictions or sanctions.
• Graduate of a 3-year ANA-accredited School of Nursing program.
• Two years of experience in an Acute or Long-Term Care facility preferred.
• IV certification and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report changes to supervisor with detailed shift status.
• Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments; document via MARs/TARs and electronic systems.
• Supervise LNAs; assign care and monitor compliance with regulations.
• Accompany physician on rounds and communicate during 60-day reviews.
• Provide oxygen, gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings, and wound care.
• Check appointments, therapy schedules, documentation, and nutrition charts.
• Admissions, discharges, transfers; maintain unit reports and orders.
• Communicate with resident families about orders and consent.
• Manage unit during shifts; report issues to Nurse Manager/Supervisor.
• Follow regulations for controlled substances and participate in staff education.
