Lifespace Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Wesley Court community in Abilene, TX. The RN will deliver direct nursing care to residents, supervise staff, and coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certifications and Registered Nurse licenses, and other licensure required by state regulations.
• One year of nursing experience in a long-term facility is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing services to residents in assigned neighborhoods or programs.
• Provide hands-on training to newly hired team members and retraining as needed.
• Oversee physician orders, document and transcribe into the electronic record system, administer medications per orders.
• Supervise clinical and non-clinical team members and provide leadership.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care.
• Document the resident's condition and nursing needs accurately and promptly; report observations.
• Execute treatments and monitor responses to medications and treatments.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure quality service.
• Plan resident admissions with physicians; verify orders and notify relevant departments.
• Provide thorough shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
