Wesley Willows is seeking experienced nursing professionals in the RN and LPN disciplines to join our team!

PRN Program Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Must work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month; two (2) must be weekend shifts (Friday 2 pm-Sunday 10 pm).
- Required to work two (2) holidays per year, one (1) must be July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
- There is no guarantee of hours, shifts, or unit assignment. It is by availability only.
What do we need from you?
(Please note, this list is not all-inclusive, and other related duties may be assigned)
- To provide the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of residents within the assigned area.
- To initiate and implement resident care plans.
- To maintain acceptable standards of patient care.
- To help us identify potential problems and find the solution.
- To implement the physician’s orders accurately and promptly.
- To prepare and administer medications and intravenous solutions ordered by the physician skillfully and correctly.
- To maintain the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting.
- To support and enforce infection-control policies and procedures.
- To be resourceful and remain calm in emergency situations.
- To keep the Nursing Supervisor informed of patients' needs and problems on the nursing unit.
- To cooperate and maintain a good rapport with colleagues, medical staff, other departments, and visitors.
- To accept assignments as needed to provide necessary care for residents.
What do you bring to the table?
- Registered nurse (R.N.) with a valid license.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid license.
- One to two years of experience in a long-term care environment, preferably.
- Graduate Registered Nurse (GRN) will be considered if licensure is received within forty-five days of employment.
- Excellent interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
Other federally regulated requirements:
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records.
- Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine and TB testing.
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis.
- Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.
