Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a committed Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process, perform initial and ongoing assessments, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.

You will administer medications safely, educate patients and families, advocate for patient safety, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while working a 7:00 am to 7:30 pm shift, 36 hours per week, and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Initial and ongoing patient assessment is required
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
• Ability to educate patients and families on care plans

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment and creates a plan of care
• Administers medications in a safe manner per policies and state practice
• Coordinates patient care across hospital departments and supports safety initiatives
