Job summary

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to influence patient care through collaborative relationships and participation in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.

You will lead nursing care using the nursing process, assess and document care, and implement prescribed interventions for patients and families. Requires a current NC RN license, BLS, and 1 year OR experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON. Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year OR experience

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.
