Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care on an assigned unit, coordinate care planning, and supervise other healthcare staff as needed.

You will assess patient needs, set realistic outcomes, implement orders, and participate in hourly rounding while upholding safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes teamwork and a fast-paced environment centered on patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
• ACLS; PALS or ENPC required or must obtain within ninety days.
• Post-partum, Nursery, L&D: NRP required upon orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing basis.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based on patient assessment and data analysis.
• Sets practical, realistic patient outcome goals and guides patient in achieving them.
• Individualizes the patient's plan of care based on needs.
• Implements nursing and medical orders and ensures they are appropriate to status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
