Job summary

Saint Luke’s North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Care Team in an LDRP role. The position is full-time, 36 hours, with night shifts and a 6-week rotation for weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities include caring for Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum and GYN patients, working with a multidisciplinary team, delegating tasks where appropriate and acting as a clinical resource with leadership within the unit.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• BLS certification via American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - LDRP

Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours, Nights

Care of the Antepartum, Intrapartum, Post-partum & GYN patients

Weekend shifts: 4 shifts in a 6-week schedule period

On-call shifts: 2 On-call shifts in 6-week schedule period

Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
