Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery. Part Time Nights, 24 hours with on-call shifts. You will be accountable for the nursing process, perform patient care, delegate tasks, and supervise other staff.

Coordinate care for a group of patients and consult with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes. This role requires RN with ADN and 1 year of BLS; NRP/RQI certifications may be preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year Basic Life Support (BLS) experience required
• NRP/RQI certification preferred
• RN with ADN required

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery.

Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours, Nights On-Call Shifts Required.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.

Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.

Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Applicable Experience: 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)
• Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree
