Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery Department. You will work with a diverse patient population with various conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. You will work with both high risk and healthy patients and assist with Labor, C Sections, Recovery, Triage, and antepartum care of our obstetrical patients.

The Opportunity

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery Department. You will work with a diverse patient population with various conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. You will work with both high risk and healthy patients and assist with Labor, C Sections, Recovery, Triage, and antepartum care of our obstetrical patients.

This position will provide you the opportunity to work with a top performing patient-centered team that is supportive, compassionate, and solutions focused. They believe in helping each other, knowledge sharing, and keeping the patient at the forefront of everything they do.

The Work

1. Utilize the nursing process
2. Perform patient care, delegating patient care tasks and supervising other patient care staff
3. Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the healthcare team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
4. Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures
