Job summary

Saint Luke's North Hospital in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Care (LDRP) on a full-time night schedule (36 hours). You will care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and some GYN patients, with 4 weekend shifts and on-call duties in a 6-week cycle.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of relevant experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. The role emphasizes independent nursing care, teamwork, and leadership within the unit.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP
Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights

Care of the Antepartum, Intrapartum, post-partum & some GYN patients

Weekend shifts and on-call shifts required: 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period along with 2 On-call shifts

Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
