Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week contract in Worcester, MA. The position covers 12-hour nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM and requires floating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum.

Preferred candidates have 3 years of L&D experience, MA RN licensure, and Epic experience. AWHONN, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required. Travel may be considered for some assignments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
• Epic experience required; willing to travel 1–2+ years if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Postpartum patients.
• Manage labor and delivery patients, including high-risk deliveries.
• Perform fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Administer medications and treatments including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate.
• Assist with vaginal and C-section deliveries and provide postpartum care.
• Complete assessments and nursing documentation in Epic.
• Maintain safe, quality patient care according to AWHONN standards.

Location: Worcester, MA

Rate: Up to $2550.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1

Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM–7:15 AM

Contract: 13 weeks | Local & Travel Accepted

Requirements

• 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
• Will consider 1–2+ years of experience with travel experience
• Epic experience required
• Will float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Certifications

• AWHONN Intermediate or higher required
• BLS required
• ACLs required
• NRP required
