Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry Labor and Delivery RN in Perryville, MO is seeking a dedicated part-time nurse for 12-hour shifts to join a collaborative obstetric care team. You will use the nursing process to provide patient care, protect patient rights and confidentiality, coordinate with other departments, and evaluate care outcomes for the patients under your care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  


• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  


• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  


• Other: Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
