• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate).
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in your role:

• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care independently.
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Communicate effectively, demonstrating confidence and professionalism.
• Show teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the team.
• Ensure quality nursing services and promote a positive image of nursing.

Qualifications needed:

• At least one year of Labor and Delivery/L&D/Mother-Baby experience as a licensed RN.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate).
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact (with requirement to obtain Texas license within 90 days if applicable).
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 60 days of hire.
• C-EFM certification required with 2+ years of L&D experience.
• Mandatory breastfeeding education every two years.
