Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center in Virginia is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team, applying nursing models to ensure compassionate, comprehensive care for mothers and newborns.

The position requires 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, an active RN license, and ACLS/BLS certifications with timely renewals.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment start date
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation within 90 days of employment start date
• RN license is required in the state of practice

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team
• Uses established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage
• Advocates for patients, families, and caregivers to support outcomes and experience

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• PRN position
• Must have at least 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
