Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree with at least five years of supervisory nursing experience, current RN licensure, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; effective clinical decision-making.

• Supervises and evaluates staff performance, manages staffing based on patient acuity, and coordinates care delivery.
• Develops and implements patient care strategies, addresses operational issues, and recommends policy improvements.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards, participates in quality improvement activities, and fosters patient satisfaction.
• Assesses department needs, manages resources, and maintains equipment and facility safety.
• Supports staff development through coaching, discipline, hiring, and onboarding processes.
