CoxHealth in Missouri is hiring a Labor and Delivery nurse to provide family-centered care for mothers and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. The role requires an active RN license in Missouri and completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities include supporting families, recognizing and stabilizing complications, and collaborating with physicians and the care team. The position features day shift hours and a supportive benefits package.

The Labor and Delivery nurse cares for women and neonates during labor and childbirth. They are responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating families throughout the birth process. The Labor and Delivery nurse provides comprehensive, family centered nursing care to mothers and neonates during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages of delivery. The Labor and Delivery nurse must be able to recognize complications and act quickly to stabilize the situation and communicate with the patient, family, and appropriate physicians and specialists.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration
