Job summary

Methodist Healthcare is seeking a Systems Resource Labor and Delivery PRN Registered Nurse to float to all Methodist Hospitals within the San Antonio area.

The role offers a comprehensive orientation, mentor-led growth, leadership development, and access to state-of-the-art units to support your professional goals and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute RN experience with at least 1 year in specialty areas if floating.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact; Texas license required within 60 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking to deliver safe nursing care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Systems Resource Labor and Delivery PRN Registered Nurse will float to all Methodist Hospitals within the San Antonio area.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
• You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
• You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team
• You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute RN experience with a minimum of one year specialty experience for those floating to specialty areas
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
