Department/Unit Summary

The Labor and Delivery Nurse provides compassionate, specialized care for pregnant individuals before, during, and after childbirth. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, administering medications, pain management, assisting with inductions and emergencies, and supporting patients and families. Collaboration with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams ensures optimal care.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must have a current state RN license and an associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
