Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care. You will assess patients, plan individualized care, and work with physicians to respond to changes in clinical conditions, while maintaining accurate documentation and patient advocacy.

The role requires California RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Labor and Delivery registered nurse to deliver exceptional direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting. In this role, you will provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What qualifications you will need:

• You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition
• You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
• You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
• You will participate in performance improvement activities
• You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, previous experience in Labor & Delivery
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Current NRP required
• National RN certification preferred
