A highly respected and top-ranked NYC hospital and healthcare system in Brooklyn, NY is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join its women’s health team. This is a full-time contract opportunity offering premium pay and consistent night shift scheduling.

Position Overview:

* Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

* Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (full-time)
* Pay Rate: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
* Monitor fetal and maternal health throughout labor and delivery
* Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin, as ordered
* Support physicians and midwives during deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean sections
* Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn needs
* Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Required)
* Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (Required)
