Lower Keys Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Florida is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The role covers antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care on Labor and Delivery units, with night shifts 7pm-7am and potential cross-float when needed.
Candidates must have at least two prior travel assignments and demonstrated L&D postpartum, nursery, Mother/Baby experience; ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications are required.
The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
