You will care for patients in the Mother Baby Care unit, coordinating admission to discharge and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include an ADN, valid Kentucky RN license, and credentialing in fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation per policy.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within 1 year.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring required within 2 years.
• Neonatal Resuscitation required within 90 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Document care, outcomes and evaluations, prioritizing as patient needs change.
• Communicate with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Rotate in the Mother Baby Care unit as required.
