Position / Specialty - Mother Baby Center. RNs work both in labor and post-partum.

Shift: 3x12 Nights (1900-0730)

Average Daily Census: 8 del/ day; post-partum: 15/day

Years of experience REQ: 2 years of L&D with post-partum experience needed.

First-timers accepted: Yes

Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend

Certs REQ: BLS, NRP

Is on-call REQ? No

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.

Open to accommodating block schedule? No

Locals accepted: No - 100 mile radius

Pending License accepted: Yes

RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.

Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.

Special Requirements: Sterile vaginal exam experience required. Required Fetal Monitoring Skills/Experience: Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns*** Experience administering Pitocin (oxytocin) required. Experience Managing/Administering Epidural Anesthesia.
