Responsibilities
  • Follow the nursing process which includes assess, plan, implement and evaluate. The nursing process is ongoing and can end at any stage.
  • Assessment – Systematically collect and analyze healthcare consumer data including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors.
  • Plan – Set measurable and achievable short‑ and long‑term goals according to standards of care, in collaboration with the consumer and multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement – Execute and/or modify the plan of care using assessment data, clinical reasoning based on standards of care and evidence‑based practice. This includes care coordination, education and discharge planning. The nurse is accountable for care directly, indirectly or through delegation. Professional and legal standards for delegation must be followed.
  • Evaluate – Use a systematic ongoing process to assess progress toward identified consumer goals. Revise the plan of care when necessary, involving the consumer and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Document all phases of the nursing process in the consumer’s record.
Compensation and Benefits

$10,000 Sign on Bonus

Requirements
  • Graduate of an RN nursing program, upon hire.
  • Registered Nurse: license in good standing upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 5 months.

Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body, mind and spirit of every person in a comfortable, less stressful hospital environment. We offer trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care and diagnostic imaging.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 per hour
