Job summary

BayCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the L&D Core Float Team on a part-time night schedule. The RN will float across designated BayCare facilities, delivering high-quality obstetric care with 2x12 hour shifts per week and no on-call requirements.

Minimum requirements include an RN license and nursing degree, with 2+ years L&D experience preferred. BLS/ACLS must be current; NRP and STABLE advantageous. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years L&D RN experience strongly preferred; 4+ years preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certifications must be current.
• NDN/STABLE/NRP certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Float between hospitals in the L&D Core Float Team.
• Provide safe, compassionate obstetric care on a part-time night schedule (2x12h shifts).
• Maintain documentation and adhere to BayCare standards.

Positions details- Registered Nurse- L&D Region Float Pool Part Time-float between 3 hospitals.

• Locations: Region 1 includes Mease Countryside, Morton Plant & St Joseph's Women's Hospital, Region 2 includes St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South & St Joseph's Women's Hospital and Region 3 includes South Florida Baptist, St Joseph's Women's and Winter Haven Women's Hospital.
• Status: Part Time, Exempt
• 2x12 hour shifts per week and every 3rd weekend
• Shift: 645PM - 7:15AM
• On Call: No
• Always in person

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 2-year's L&D RN experience in a hospital setting. Experience in antepartum, labor, c-section, tubals, circulate & recover, transition infants, and OB urgent care required.
• 4-year's L&D RN experience strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS(AHA)-certifications must not expire within 30-days of start date
• NRP and STABLE certification

Charge Nurse experience and travel nurse experience strongly preferred.
