Health Wealth Safe is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery unit, providing evidence-based care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and obstetrical emergencies. The 23-bed unit supports mothers and newborns with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

The role includes maternal and fetal assessments, high-risk pregnancy management, and participation in rapid response during emergencies.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred from CCNE-accredited schools.
• Maryland RN license required.
• BLS certification; ACLS & NRP required before orientation.
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, monitor vital signs, uterine activity, and fetal heart patterns.
• Care for high-risk pregnancies, including bedrest and treatment, and provide postpartum recovery support such as uterine assessment, pain management, and breastfeeding assistance.
• Participate in rapid response efforts during obstetrical emergencies like postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress, and hypertensive crises.

Role Overview
