This part-time (0.5 Status) position assists with the planning and evaluation of Hemodialysis services and provides nursing care for dialysis patients in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, licensure, and scope of practice. Wage: $32.00-$49.46. Mon-Sat Schedule. Delivers hemodialysis services to chronic outpatients and will provide treatment to inpatients and acute patients as needed.
Bachelors in nursing or Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in an approved accredited Registered Nurse Program. Minimum of one-year experience in a medical/surgical unit is preferred.
Holds or is eligible for current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of South Dakota and may be required to apply for a Minnesota RN license.
Strong interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to utilize the nursing process and the guidelines established by regulatory agencies in the assessing, planning, delivery and evaluation of care to patients. Must be able to competently perform all technical nursing skills within the framework of licensure and scope of practice. Must have the ability to deal tactfully with hospital personnel, patients, families, physicians, and the general public.
