Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU). This full-time role is 36 hours per week, 1900–0730, with weekend rotations and float as needed.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, use the nursing process to plan and evaluate the patient plan of care, and guide unlicensed staff to deliver interdisciplinary care. Requirements: NLN-accredited nursing program; IL RN license; BLS/CPR; 1 year acute care or ISCU

• BSN strongly preferred.
• IL RN license required.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Guide assigned personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000

  ?Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.

• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

• Float: when needed

What you will do

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
