Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. The role provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care during 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts with weekend rotation and a 36-hour work week.

Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing education, IL RN license, and BLS/CPR certification. NICU/ISCU experience is preferred and a $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: NLN accredited nursing program required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• License: IL RN license active and in good standing.
• Experience: 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in the ISCU.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Direct and mentor assigned unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000

  ?Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

• Float: when needed

What you will do

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
