Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) includes 1900–0730 shifts with weekend rotation and a $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible NICU/ISCU experience.

The nurse provides safe, compassionate ISCU care and collaborates with the care team. Requirements include an NLN-accredited nursing program, IL RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience; BSN strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program graduates required.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Current IL RN licensure required.
• 1 year acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Apply nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Supervise assigned unlicensed personnel in patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes.
• Support safety and high-quality patient experience.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000 *Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• Position: Registered Nurse - Infant Special Care Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
